To achieve this, Eion sources its olivine from Norway and offers subsidized rates to farmers, making it a financially attractive option. Dan Prevost, a Mississippi-based farmer, has seen the benefits firsthand, with a 50-60% cost reduction compared to traditional products.
With $20 million in funding from investors like Exelon and Growmark, Eion is expanding its operations beyond Mississippi, targeting the Midwest and Mid-Atlantic regions. As the company grows, it expects to reach hundreds of millions of dollars in revenue over the next five years.
