**Elon Musk’s PAC Offers $47 for Swing State Voter Info**

Billionaire Backer Offers Cash Incentive for Voter Referrals in Swing States

In a recent social media post, Tesla CEO Elon Musk, a prominent supporter of Donald Trump’s presidential campaign, announced a lucrative referral program. For every registered swing-state voter referred to an online petition, participants can earn a $47 bonus. This initiative has raised eyebrows, as the petition’s primary goal appears to be collecting personal contact information from voters in key states.

The petition, backed by Musk’s America PAC, claims to support First and Second Amendment rights but lacks essential details about its intended recipients, demands, or timelines. Instead, it directs signers to a page featuring voter registration links for seven swing states: Pennsylvania, Georgia, North Carolina, Nevada, Arizona, Michigan, and Wisconsin.

Musk’s America PAC aims to gather 1 million registered voters’ signatures in support of the Constitution, focusing on freedom of speech and the right to bear arms. However, this is not the PAC’s first attempt to collect valuable swing-state voter contact information online. Earlier this year, the PAC faced investigations from the North Carolina Attorney General’s office and the Michigan Secretary of State’s office for collecting personal data under false pretenses.

Musk has contributed to the America PAC, although the exact amount remains unclear. The billionaire’s promotion of the petition came on the heels of his appearance with Trump at a campaign rally in Pennsylvania, where he emphasized the importance of Trump’s victory in preserving the Constitution and democracy.

The petition’s referral program has sparked questions about how the PAC plans to deliver the promised payments. As the election contest between Trump and Vice President Kamala Harris heats up, the significance of these swing states cannot be overstated.
