**Trump’s Properties in Path of Hurricane Milton, Except Golf Resorts**

Florida Braces for Impact as Hurricane Milton Bears Down

As Hurricane Milton, a Category 5 storm, hurtles towards Florida’s Gulf Coast, former President Donald Trump’s business empire is caught in the crosshairs. While his luxury properties, including Mar-a-Lago and various golf resorts, appear to be outside the storm’s projected path, the Sarasota offices of Trump Media, the parent company of Truth Social, are directly in harm’s way.

The National Weather Service has issued a flood watch for Palm Beach County, where Mar-a-Lago and other Trump properties are located, but officials have declared a local state of emergency in both Palm Beach and Miami-Dade counties, urging residents to prepare for the worst.

Meanwhile, the Truth Social offices in Sarasota are squarely in the storm’s sights, with Milton expected to make landfall late Wednesday. Trump Media, a publicly traded company, has not commented on its preparations for the storm or the number of employees who work at the Sarasota office.

As the storm intensifies, Trump’s presidential campaign has already felt the impact, with a scheduled town hall event in Miami postponed until next week. His Democratic opponent, Vice President Kamala Harris, is set to tape her own town hall event in Nevada on Thursday.

With winds of 175 miles per hour, Hurricane Milton is expected to bring widespread destruction to the southeastern United States, just days after Hurricane Helene tore through the region. As the clock ticks down, residents are urged to take necessary precautions and prepare for the worst.
