**Foxconn to Build World’s Largest Nvidia Superchip Factory**

In a bid to capitalize on the surging popularity of artificial intelligence, Taiwan-based electronics giant Foxconn is constructing a massive production facility dedicated to manufacturing Nvidia’s cutting-edge GB200 chips. According to Benjamin Ting, senior VP of Foxconn’s cloud enterprise solutions business group, the partnership with Nvidia is crucial in meeting the overwhelming demand for the Blackwell platform.

Speaking at Foxconn’s annual tech day in Taipei, Ting revealed that the company is building the world’s largest GB200 production facility, although he declined to disclose its location. Flanked by Nvidia’s VP for AI and robotics, Deepu Talla, Ting emphasized that the demand for Nvidia’s Blackwell platform is unprecedented. “Everyone wants it, and the demand is staggering,” he noted.

Foxconn, renowned for its role as Apple’s primary iPhone assembler, has been riding the AI wave, leveraging its expertise in server manufacturing to benefit from the boom. The company’s collaboration with Nvidia is seen as a strategic move to further solidify its position in the AI ecosystem. Notably, Nvidia’s CEO Jensen Huang made an appearance at Foxconn’s tech day last year, although he was unable to attend this year’s event.
