**Investment Performance Update**
Our investment strategy, LRT Global Opportunities, has delivered impressive returns across various timeframes. As of September, our strategy has generated a monthly return of 7.70%, bringing the year-to-date result to 31.11%. Over the past 12 months, we have achieved a return of 9.58%, and 25.73% over the last 24 months. Since inception, our strategy has delivered a return of 20.34%.
Our systematic long/short approach is designed to generate positive returns while controlling downside risks and maintaining a low net exposure to equity markets. In September, our beta-adjusted net exposure stood at 23.53%. The attribution of our return was 0.43% from market beta and 7.28% from our alpha generation.
Our long positions contributed significantly to our performance, with top gainers including Corporación América Airports, Comfort Systems USA, Exponent, Saia, and Align Technology. On the other hand, our shorts were largely flat, with some losses incurred on HF Sinclair Corporation, McKesson Corporation, and PagSeguro Digital Ltd.
We take pride in our systematic and quantitative approach to portfolio construction, which eliminates emotions, human biases, and overconfidence risk. Our process considers each position’s contribution to portfolio volatility, idiosyncratic and systematic risk, and factor exposures. We trade mechanically to rebalance our portfolio each month to targeted exposures.
As always, we appreciate the trust you have placed in us as stewards of your savings. If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to reach out to us.
