**Spirit Halloween Expands with 10 New Christmas Stores**

This Holiday Season, Spirit Halloween Stores Will Transform into Winter Wonderlands

In a bold move, Spirit Halloween is shaking things up by converting 10 of its stores into festive holiday destinations, dubbed “Spirit Christmas.” Instead of closing up shop after Halloween, these select locations will remain open through the end of the year, offering a unique retail experience that captures the magic of the season.

The first Spirit Christmas store will open its doors on October 18 in Mays Landing, New Jersey, with the remaining nine locations following suit in early November. These stores won’t simply swap out spooky decorations for holiday cheer; they’ll feature interactive experiences, such as photo opportunities with a live Santa Claus and letter-writing stations to the North Pole.

This pilot program aims to test the waters and see if customers will stick around for the holiday season. With holiday sales projected to increase by 2.3% to 3.3% in 2024, according to Deloitte, Spirit Halloween is hoping to capitalize on this lucrative market. However, the company faces stiff competition from e-commerce giants like Amazon, which is gearing up to hire 250,000 seasonal workers.

The success of Spirit Christmas will depend on various factors, including the outcome of the presidential election and the impact of hurricane season on consumer spending habits. If successful, this new concept could become a staple of Spirit Halloween’s business strategy, providing a fresh revenue stream during the holiday season.
