The survey, which polled 2,000 drivers from 10 countries, found that India’s unpredictable traffic conditions, including cars, motorcycles, rickshaws, and even livestock sharing the roads, contribute to the high level of anxiety.

The top 10 list is a mix of countries across Asia, Africa, and South America. Notably, none of the respondents hail from Asia or South America. The list includes:

The Most Comfortable Countries
On the other hand, motorists indicated that they’re most comfortable behind the wheel in the Netherlands, which received a score of 4.41. Switzerland, Austria, and Australia also ranked high on the list.
