Market Momentum: ETFs See Significant Inflows

The ETF industry witnessed a remarkable surge in inflows on Wednesday, with a total of $9.48 billion pouring into various funds. This substantial influx was largely driven by U.S. equity funds, which captured nearly $8.4 billion of the total.

Top Performers: Bitcoin and Traditional Equity Funds

The Bitwise Bitcoin ETF Trust (BITB) saw an impressive $208 million in new assets, pushing its total assets under management to $4.5 billion. Other crypto funds also experienced significant inflows, with the iShares Bitcoin Trust ETF (IBIT) gathering $375 million and the Fidelity Wise Origin Bitcoin Fund (FBTC) adding $326 million in new assets. Meanwhile, traditional equity funds led by the Vanguard S&P 500 ETF (VOO) saw nearly $2.6 billion in inflows.

Outflows: Small-Cap and Bond ETFs Feel the Pinch

On the other hand, the iShares Russell 2000 ETF (IWM) saw a substantial $1.5 billion in redemptions, while the iShares 20+ Year Treasury Bond ETF (TLT) experienced $836 million in outflows.
